LeasePlan at Fleet Europe Forum

At the recent Fleet Europe Forum that took place in Amsterdam on 19th November 2009, Nathalie de Vries of LeasePlan International's Consultancy devision, ConsultPlus, presented on how to balance an international fleet and Tim Hudson, LeasePlan International's Managing Director took part in a panel discussion together with other experts in the industry.

During the gala dinner following the Forum, the Fleet Europe industry awards were announced. Awards in different categories were given to fleet managers of large organizations. LPI client, Werner Berger, Global Fleet Solution Manager for Nestlé Business Services SA was awarded second prize for the Fleet Green Award and the very prestigious award of International Fleet Manager of the Year for 2009.

Green Summits

Over the past 12 months LeasePlan's international consultancy team, ConsultPlus, has hosted nine Green Summits across Europe and the United States. The Summits were established in order to provide companies operating international fleets with insights on how to manage a sustainable fleet.

With representatives from various functions within large organisation including HR, Global Fleet Managers, Procurement Specialists and Environmental & Sustainability Officers, the sessions provided lively discussions as well as best practice sharing and new innovative approaches to sustainable fleet management and driver risk management.
